In anticipation of new hardware being installed into pods for commissary and for video visitation capabilities myself and a few other co-workers and contractors had drilled through concrete bricks, bent and mounted 1" conduit and boxes along the pods and terminated the ends for the kiosks that will be in place. This will also hopefully relieve our issue with the phone system and our previous calling card company blocking our outbound calls. Was a great learning experience for myself as I had hardly ever done this type of job with the drilling and mounting/bending conduit.
Challenges:
Not having the proper tools at the start of the job was a pain, also working blindly without schematics of the wiring to possibly make the job easier. Working in the pods/jail and having to work with the guards to get the inmates out of the pod as we worked.

Created this website as a personal portfolio and as a means for contacting with business inquiries. I want to build upon this website as I build my skills as a technician and a software engineer. This website utilizes Laravel a PHP framework, vanilla CSS and JS also along with blade formatting with the PHP framework. It is nice to use a framework now that I know more being that I had built one from scratch with our Advanced Web Development class at Bemidji State University.
Challenges:
Learning Laravel, doing my whole front-end and back-end development. Continually learning and improving upon my previous code. Graphic design is not my strong suit so bare with me.

Configured the Wi-Fi capability on our Mitel phones. This helped greatly with some of the buildings that are modular and do not have RJ-45 jacks in the room also allows for garages to have a phone if they do not have the hardline capability also.
Challenges:
Trial and error with figuring this out, had tried and tested numerous variations of the configurations. Did my own research and figuring out the schema of the VoIP network to better understand and figure this out, was a fun project to do and is used in most of the modular buildings now.

Replaced a ~60-minute per-desktop build with a standardized local Clonezilla workflow. Preconfigured images and device-side constraints cut hands-on time to ~10–15 minutes and stabilized first-boot outcomes. Mitigates user error while setting up devices for our end-users.
Challenges:
Different images for certain devices that need drivers mainly laptops. Had to learn Clonezilla through trial and error but it allowed me to fine tune my images for the devices.

Implemented upgrades and new installations for 7 different Network Video Recorders (NVR) for different businesses to improve current systems and provide better reliability. Installed patch panels if necessary, ensured cabling was neat and orderly. Documented camera information.
Challenges:
Not having the correct information for some of the systems due to lack of documentation. Had to coordinate with programs to ensure that the downtime wouldn't be during a critical time. Poor cable management.
